We went for a hike in the Shenandoah National Park. There was a fair amount of elevation, which was fun for a change. We hike to a ridge that runs along the high points of the park.

Near the end of the Buckhorn Ridge trail, the last quarter mile is straight downhill - no switchbacks or steps. This photo looks down the trail.
